Starting at the September Meeting, we'll kick off our OCMQG 2012 A Particular Kind of Bee.
For this Bee, members SIGN UP FOR A MONTH and provide the pattern and fabric in your chosen month to the participating members. You specify any details you want and REMEMBER the more details you provide, the more likely you will get back the desired result. For example, log cabin pattern but no wonky. Or for example, use the orange for the third triangle from the top. Or for example, use only fabric provided. do not add additional fabrics. It will be your responsibility to get the bags to the participants in your month or bring them to the monthly meeting.

We'll continue this bee for as many months as we have participants. 10 participants = 10 months. or we may go around twice. Also, when we have the participants, we'll send out invitations to join the Flickr Group. Anyone can view the Flickr Group but only Bee members can post photos/discussions.

2. Note in the comments below, your preferred month. Bring bags with your detailed pattern, fabric and instructions during your chosen month. Describe your detailed desires for the end product. Don't be shy. The more details the more likely you'll get back the desired result. BE SURE TO INCLUDE your contact info including phone/email/address.
4. YOU DO NOT NEED TO BRING ANYTHING TO THE September 27th Meeting.

Kathy & Leigh-I received the blocks you did for me. It wasn't necessary to mail themm but thanks for being so considerate.

Susan - Took someone's spot that moved? July? Thanks for including me - got the row done for Leigh (Kit 3); also have Susan's Kit - will do past ones if Bunnie, Vanessa, Laura, and Janet still need some help and bring kits for me -

I'm going to try to make the October meeting. Susan, if you still want me to work on a block for your quilt, just bring it and I'll do yours and Bunnie's before the next November meeting.

I think #4 for the instructions above is for the Round Robin bee, the journal travels from person to person with the blocks and each person writes in the journal. For this bee we distribute instructions for the block along with the fabric when it's our month.

This sounds like great fun but could only do one so chose Round Robin Bee this time. I know it will be great fun as well :)
