Event Description
Starting at the September Meeting, we'll kick off our OCMQG 2012 Round Robin Bee.
It's not too late to join.
For this Bee, we're building on the theme established by the owner. Owners can begin with the center block (doesn't have to be a square) and request the other bee members to build off that OR the owner will provide an inspiration block (again, doesn't have to be a square), not necessarily the center for the other bee members to be inspired by. As the owner you can provide the fabric or request other bee participants to pull from their stash. You can specify any details you want such as favorite colors, themes, shapes, likes, dislikes but REMEMBER the more details you request, the less creative freedom the other bee members will have. We will rotate bags monthly at each guild meeting. If you are unable to attend a meeting, it will be your responsibility to get the bag to Sewing Party before the meeting or to the next recipient before the end of the month.
If you'd like to participate in this bee, please click on the RSVP so we have an online record. We'll continue this bee for as many months as we have participants. 10 participants = 10 months. Also, when we have the participants, we'll send out invitations to join the Flickr Group. Anyone can view the Flickr Group but only Bee members can post photos/discussions.
To participate:
1. RSVP here on ning.
2. Bring a bag with your inspiration/center piece.
3. Any fabric to include.
4. Some sort of journal with you writing the first entry. Describe your inspiration/center piece, include your wish list details, if any, and BE SURE TO INCLUDE your contact info including phone/email/address.
5. Bring your bag to the next meeting.

Elisabeth always gives to Amy
Amy always gives to Bunnie

I am exploring Puglia, Italy for the month of September and will miss the start of 2012 Round Robin Bee. I am however, signed up and look forward to participating. I'll catch up in October :-)
