Weekend Sew at Sewing Party at Sewing Party

Enjoy an afternoon of friendship and dedicated sewing time! This is a great opportunity to check out the OC Modern Quilt Guild.The Weekend Sews are free to members and count as one of two free events non-members can attend. OCMQG SCRAP CHALLENGE at Sewing Party

Our Scrap Challenge is underway. Yolanda asked me about my Embroidery classes, so I thought I would let the group know about them. I take a modern approach to embroidery. I teach traditional stitches, but I encourage people to relax and enjoy the process rather than worry about the "rules". (Yes, I let them knot their thread if they want!)

I also do a little sketching and provide unique and modern patterns. No ladies with bonnets (unless you are going to embroider them in neon colors!). I love…
