"I think 35" is a good size for a baby quilt. I've already made those three blocks and want to mail them to you. I'll volunteer to quilt it also. I have enough batting but I don't have any backing that would work."

1999 Piecemakers' Pattern of the Month Give-a-way

Happy New Year to all my OC Modern Quilter friends! While trying to make room for more crafting items I seemed to have acquired...I found a BOM from Piecemakers in Costa Mesa from 1999. All monthly kits are complete except for the month of December. I only have the pattern. The BOMs are a combo of piecing and applique. The blocks finish at 14" square so with a boarder and some fancy maneuvers it could be a quilt for any size bed, a semi-large wall hanging or a nice size lap/entire body quilt. I…See More

(Just checking if you're a real person) How long have you been sewing/quilting?
I've been sewing off and on since I was a teenager. Its only been within the last few years that I've really gotten into quilting...er, should I say that I've gotten into finishing some of my quilt projects! I have loads of UFOs older than my 21 year old son.
(Just checking if you're a real person) What does modern quilting mean to you?
Modern quilting to me means being able to be free from tradition to complete a quilt. Whatever works...WORKS!
