A new guild
I'm just joining this new guild, in addition to my other 3 guilds! I'm leaning more toward contemporary quilting and look forward to connecting with others who feel the same way.

Embroidery Bee
Yolanda asked me about my Embroidery classes, so I thought I would let the group know about them. I take a modern approach to embroidery. I teach traditional stitches, but I encourage people to relax and enjoy the process rather than worry about the "rules". (Yes, I let them knot their thread if they want!)

It is something that we all struggle with. How to photgraph a quilt without it looking like a exercise in perspective. You know what I mean, the taper toward the top, the fade to black.
