Yolanda asked me about my Embroidery classes, so I thought I would let the group know about them. I take a modern approach to embroidery. I teach traditional stitches, but I encourage people to relax and enjoy the process rather than worry about the "rules". (Yes, I let them knot their thread if they want!)

I also do a little sketching and provide unique and modern patterns. No ladies with bonnets (unless you are going to embroider them in neon colors!). I love all the "indie" patterns that are out there.

So, if you are interested in coming to one of my Embroidery Bees, visit this page for all the info: http://katydiddys.blogspot.com/p/embroidery-bee.html

We usually meet the second Thursday of the month, but this month is the exception-we will be meeting next Thursday (November 18).

Yolanda.  The classes aren't going on anymore, so I pulled the page off my site.  There wasn't enough interest.  Too bad, I do love to embroider.
